Privacy Policy

Effective 1 November 2026

In short: Transcriple does not collect any data about you. Your recordings, transcripts, summaries and settings stay on your Mac. There is no account, no analytics and no tracking. The only time your content leaves your Mac is when you choose to use a cloud AI provider with your own API key.

This policy covers the Transcriple app for Mac and this website. Transcriple is made by Ibrahim Fiqhan (fiqhan.dev), referred to here as "we".

What stays on your Mac

We have no copy of any of this and cannot see or recover it. Deleting a recording in the app, or deleting the app with its data, removes it.

What we don't do

Crash reports

If you turned on Share with App Developers in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymous crash reports from Transcriple with us. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

Email

If you email us for support, we use your message and email address only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Please don't send recordings unless we ask for one to fix a problem.

Children

Transcriple doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.

This website

This website has no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and operations.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what data leaves your Mac, the app will tell you before it applies.
